Techvolution

Technology is the source of some of today’s most amazing inventions. Think about where we would be without the telephone, television or even the radio. While these are some of the more “primitive” forms of technology they have really changed the way that humans communicate. Even with all these forms of technology, technology refuses to take a break and is constantly coming up with newer, more advanced forms of itself. In fact, some of today’s new technology will forever change the way that we communicate with each other. Here is a look at some examples of modern technology and how it has changed the way we communicate with each other.

Online Colleges

Online colleges have really changed the way that people communicate and learn. Instead of being forced to attend classes at a brick and mortar college, online colleges offer everyone from businessmen to stay at home mothers the opportunity to earn a number of online degrees. This form of technology has not only changed how people communicate but it changed the way we learn.

Smartphones

Smartphones do everything and anything. They offer a line of direct communication, a word processor, a television and an entertainment center. In fact, everyone’s life could be contained right inside a small smartphone. The popularity of the smartphone has really made it so that everyone has become dependent upon these items. Just a few minutes without their smartphone and people are panicking.

Social Media/Internet Memes

Social media has allowed people to stay in constant contact with each other no matter where they are in the world. It has allowed people to see into everyone’s day to day life. Social media outlets are also popular places to start and share Internet memes which are like spotlights on what is popular in the internet world.

Technology is forever changing but one thing is for certain, we have become so dependent upon technology that it will never be out of our lives.

Droid vs iPhone Affiliation

In the battle of Droid vs iPhone, there are an awful lot of variables that you need to keep in mind. Obviously, everybody who has gone shopping for a smart phone has had a notion of the cost differences between the two phones (and how much these prices can vary, from place to place). Also, there are tons of differences on both the hardware side and the software side of both phones that could influence your decision toward one or the other. And if you are just in love with the idea of having 1,001 apps to put on your phone, the iPhone wins. But if you want to have less apps to sort through before making a decision on which ones (if any) you intend to get, the Droid might be the simpler choice.

There always seems to be a duopoly in play, when it comes to anything in the US. But one thing that seems to have no competition whatsoever is the new concept of affiliate marketing on smart phones. While affiliate marketing has existed for almost as long as some salesperson online has been able to coax people into giving out their credit card numbers, this is kind of a hot new commodity in the smart phone arena.

Simply put, smart phones are now at about the same place that computers were roughly 15 years ago, with all of the excitement and limitations inherent to that stage of things. If you market a product or service, failing to reach people who are on smart phones could be the worst mistake you ever make – it could basically break your business to lose that extra added functionality. But don’t think of mobile marketing as just a stop loss venture. After all, the possibilities are endless when it comes to a marketing tool that can reach a person any time and at any place.
